than 100 years ago, Kanoo Shipping Agencies Division (KSAD), a
cornerstone of the Yusuf Bin Ahmed Group of Companies, has developed
into the largest Arab Shipping Agency Company in the Middle East.
KSAD represents
a number of the world's major liner, tanker and tramp owners and
operators. The Company has extensive experience and an excellent
reputation for the efficient handling of all types of vessels.
KSAD operates
from its own offices in all principal ports and at offshore tanker
loading terminals around the Arabian Peninsula. The Company has
expanded its network by appointment of well-established and reputed
ship agency firms in Sudan, Jordan, Lebanon, Syria, Iraq, Pakistan,
India and Sri Lanka.
Using its
own in-house computer systems, KSAD is equipped to provide comprehensive
bilingual (Arabic/English) documentation processing and EDI facilities
to its principals and other organizations.
In addition
to a full range of agency and husbandry services, other operating
divisions of the Company supply many ancillary services including
bunkers, marine repairs, stevedoring, brokerage, 24-hour port
communication coverage, maintenance and repair for radio, radar
and electronics.
